We aim to keep things simple and respectful. This page explains what this site does and what data is (and is not) collected.
What the site does
- Publishes essays, research, and practice tools.
- Offers a newsletter subscription form powered by MailerLite.
- Offers optional donations via Stripe Checkout.
Analytics
We use privacy‑friendly analytics to understand basic usage so we can improve the site:
- Google Analytics (via gtag) for page views and simple events. We do not use it to identify individuals.
- Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights provide aggregate, anonymized performance and traffic metrics.
These tools help us see which pages are useful and if anything is broken. We do not sell data or build profiles.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we collect your email (and optional name) to send occasional updates. Subscriptions are processed by MailerLite. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in emails. We do not share your email with third parties beyond MailerLite for this purpose.
Donations
Donations are processed securely by Stripe Checkout. We do not receive or store your full payment details. Stripe may process minimal metadata (like amount and whether it was one‑time or monthly) to complete the transaction.
Cookies
Analytics providers may set cookies or similar storage to measure visits and performance. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking individuals.
